Elm Cottage is a vegetarian/vegan bed and breakfast located in the historic district of Searsport. Every guest reservation is both important and special to us.

Room rates include afternoon tea and a full breakfast, but do not include the Maine State Lodging Tax.

Reservation Policy: A deposit of 50% of your total stay is payable at the time you reserve your room. We accept VISA, MasterCard, cash, checks, and travelers checks.

Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel your reservation, please call or e-mail a minimum of 14 days prior to arrival date in order to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $25 processing fee. Deposits are nonrefundable if reservations are cancelled within 14 days of arrival date.

Check-in: 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., or by arrangement

Check-out: By 10:00 a.m.

Breakfast is served in the dining room at 8:00 a.m., or by arrangement if you need to leave early.

Elm Cottage is a home for non-smokers.

Elm Cottage is not suitable for young children.

We have pets so, regretfully, our home is not suitable for anyone with pet allergies.
