DIRECTIONS

From the
South
I-95 (Maine
Turnpike) North to Augusta to Exit 113, Rt.3
BELFAST.
Stay on Rt.3
for 44 miles. As you come into Belfast, you
will pass EBS Building Supplies on your right, then
Reny's Plaza on your left. In front of you, you
will see a bridge over the road that is Rt.1.
Immediately beyond the bridge, turn left onto Rt.1
North.
It is 6 miles
from Belfast to Searsport. As you come into
Searsport, you will see Bangor Savings Bank on your
right followed by a block of shops. At the
end of the shops on the right hand side you will
see a big white sign for the United Methodist
Church. The church is on one corner of Elm
Street and the Masonic Hall (complete with cannon
and cannon balls) is on the other corner.
Turn right on Elm Street and Elm Cottage is the
second house on the right. Park on the gravel
area in front of the fence.
From the
North (Bangor)
Rt. 1A South
for about 25 miles through Hampden, Winterport,
Frankfort, and Prospect. Be aware that 1A
also goes South to Ellsworth and Bar Harbor - it
can be confusing.
Rt. 1A flows
into Rt.1 at Stockton Springs. Continue on
Rt.1 South for about 6 miles to Searsport.
As you come
into Searsport you will pass some very large and
beautiful old sea captain's houses, then look for
Searsport Full Gospel Church on your left.
Elm Street is just a little way beyond this on the
left hand side. As you come around a bend, look on
your left for a big white sign for the United
Methodist Church. The church is on one corner
of Elm Street and the Masonic Hall (complete with
cannon and cannon balls) is on the other
corner. Turn left on Elm Street and Elm
Cottage is the second house on the right.

From the
East
Rt. 1 South
to Searsport. As you come into Searsport you
